Josefina Alcazar

 The woman in the picture is Josefina Alcazar She is a doctor in sociology. She is a Mexican researcher who studies hybrid, interdisciplinary and liminal forms in both the artistic and academic fields. She focused on the study of performance art. Among her publications it is worth mentioning that she is the author of the books Performance: an art of the self. Autobiography, body, and identity. 

She is also a recognized curator; she was Curator of the International Poetics of Action Meeting. Performance, theatricality, body, and memory, with the actions of 19 performance artists, master lectures and round tables, Plaza de las Artes, National Center for the Arts. She was also a curator at Curator of the project-presentation of the book El Mexterminator, Antonio López Mancera Forum, National School of Theatrical Art, ENAT, National Center for the Arts.

I like her because of her work as a curator. I think she does an excellent job and besides that she is Latina and that inspires me a lot to keep going.
